To successfully complete this assignment, you will find 10 peer-reviewed academic

or professional articles focused directly on your area of concentration, as you defined in

the statement of purpose you completed as part of the graduate admission process.

Ideally, your articles should afford you insight into leadership roles, initiatives, and

organizational actions that reflect how organizations operate in a global environment or how

organizations operate as they respond to the effects of globalization. The global problem or issue

you examine needs to be specific, and all your articles are clearly tied to that issue. You are

being given tremendous freedom here in choosing what to read and what to define as the primary

objective of your work. Your work, though, must clearly reflect central globalization issues.

Students should present their ideas for research to me for approval as early in the semester as

possible.

Organize your 10 article reviews (Annotated Bibliography) around the following sections:

1. Place a cover page and reference sections on your scholarly paper.

2. Write your scholarly paper in APA 7 format. Use section headings (Main headings:

Abstract, Title of Paper, and References). Paragraphs should be no less than four

sentences.

3. Prepare a 100 word abstract. It should articulate a clear and comprehensive overview of the

papers content.

4. Cite the bibliographic reference in proper APA 7 form for each article and put it at the top of

each individual article review as well as in the References section.

5. (Minimum 100 words per reference) discuss the articles primary purpose, goal, or

statement of problem. Explain your selection of this article by discussing how it relates to

your MPrS statement of purpose and/or professional goals.

6. Discuss, based on the literature review presented by the articles author, what is currently

known about the articles primary purpose, goal, or statement of problem.

7. Discuss how this article builds upon the current state of knowledge.

8. Discuss how you might use the knowledge developed or substantiated from this article.

9. Discuss how this article has affected your thinking regarding an organizational

response to this issue or problem and how that response might be led.
