The letter must do the following: Use professional letter formatting (see the template) Develop a strong paragraph that works to introduce yourself and ANA federal advocacy issue that you are advocating to be addressed and resolved Develop at least one paragraph that highlights the key consequences, or effects, of the ANA federal advocacy issue (problem) Develop at least one paragraph that highlights your proposed solution(s) Develop at least one paragraph that emphasizes why and how the elected official should advocate for your proposed solution(s), helping to put them into action Provide a clear, concise research-based overview of the ANA federal advocacy issue Briefly highlight the primary causes of the issue (problem) Emphasize the reasons why current and past solutions have not adequately addressed the issue/problem Advocate for your proposed solution Make a call for action, directly stating what you would like the elected official do in support of the requested/proposed action(s) The letter must also meet the following requirements: Word-for-word language from the Research Paper: ANA Federal Issue Examination and Proposed Action(s) paper is not present While you are focusing on the same topic and using the same research as the basis for your action letter, you cannot copy/paste content.
