Aircraft Communication and Navigation Systems

Report Format Written assessments must be processed using Arial or Calibri Light, font size 12. Double line spacing must be used throughout the document. Paragraph alignment: Justified. All pages must be numbered. The use of images, charts, tables, and other graphical elements is encouraged where appropriate. All figures and tables must be clearly labelled and referred to in the text. Students are strongly advised to present their answers in well structured analytical paragraphs, rather than writing the entire report in bullet point format. While diagrams, equations, tables, and short lists may be used where appropriate, the core explanation, analysis, and justification for each answer should be written in continuous prose. Submissions that rely excessively on bullet points without sufficient explanation may not fully demonstrate depth of understanding and may therefore be penalized under the analysis and evaluation criteria. 3. Referencing and Academic Practice All information gathered from external sources must be properly cited. The assignment must use the Harvard referencing style, including in-text citations and a reference list at the end of the document. Referencing guidance is available at: 2. Submission Format and Structure The assignment must be prepared in Microsoft Word format (doc or .docx) and submitted as one single compiled document. The completed document must be uploaded to the Moodle submission portal on or before the published deadline. All pages must be neatly structured, clearly presented, and professionally formatted.
