Complete the assignment by following APA-compliant format and responding to the following questions and/or statements. [The headings in the template correspond to the questions]. (1) Describe the agency or departmental mission, including the year of incorporation. Has the mission changed since incorporation? If so, why, or what were the circumstances influencing the change? If there is a change, please state clearly what it was prior to the change. (2) Discuss the origins or history of the agency, including the factors or circumstances that created the agency. Identify some of the agencys pioneers and some of the factors that influenced their involvement. (3) Provide a profile of the population currently served by the agency (breakdown by race/ethnicity, class, gender, geography be specific). Are these population characteristics the same as when the agency was first incorporated? Please elaborate on your response. (4) Is the agency a public, private, quasi- public, or quasi-private organization? Please explain and give examples to support your conclusion. If the agency does not use the traditional strategic planning process, identify and elaborate on what organizational analysis is used in determining its goals and objectives, including the last one completed. How does this impact the agency? (10) Discuss the process the agency uses to ensure quality performance or quality improvement of services/programs it provides to consumers. (5) What are, at least two (2), external opportunities that the agency or department may be able to use in building for the future.
