A Happy Thinker? Hannah Arendt on Why We Should Think Even…

Arendt does not argue that thinking will make me happy, and she even suggests that, as a non-thinker, I might be happier.

So why should I think at all?

In this paper, I must argue:

(1) why thinking is still necessary and important even when it is uncomfortable and produces no clear results, and

(2) what the biggest loss would be if I did not think.

The paper must be written in the first person (I, me, my) and must perform Arendts argument by doing thinking on her quotes, rather than summarizing or reporting her views.
